Turkey anyone...

Well, now that we are finished with Halloween,

and before we can possibly start decorating trees,

our thoughts turn to Thanksgiving.

I love looking at all of the old pictures on Shorpy....and these are a couple

of the funniest I have seen.

Maybe it was tradition for the kids to have their pictures

taken with the turkey they were about to eat in those days?!

Who knows!
