Found your link at the A2Z party... this turned out great! I have some original jadeite pieces, but now my mind is whirling... I've seen the Martha Stewart paint line at the Home Depot, but don't remember seeing this paint. Where did you get it? Thanks for sharing- feel free to stop by my blog for a visit!
cute! i'm stopping by from the lovely poppy and would love for you to stop by and check out the huge giveaway that ends this thursday- http://thelovelypoppy.blogspot.com/2011/10/blog-follower-giveaway.html xoxo nicole
You are so clever! I love a project like this...I think you made something for $6.99 look like something very unique...and I love that color of green with the natural color of the gourds...
And I always say this...but I love the layout of your posts...the collage layout...type...all so pretty!
Well that turned out great! Wonderful idea to paint that beautiful stand! I started collecting jadeite 20 years ago before it became "famous" and pricey! Now I just enjoy my older pieces! :)
I saw this paint in Michaels the other day and loved the colors. Your cake stand turned out beautiful! Now I need to make a trip to the craft store. Thanks for sharing at the Open House Party this week. Hugs, Sherry
Hi Ashlyn, I came over to thank you for your kind comment and what do I find but this! I have a new found love for Jadeite but have yet to acquire even one piece. This is my answer! Such a clever DIY way to duplicate the look. This is going at the top of my to-do list. Thanks so much sharing this!
I Love the look and hue of Jadeite too and this is a great idea to get the look on pieces that would be difficult to find in Vintage or Re-Issued Jadeite. Thanks for the wonderful idea!
