My hubby was a naval officer when we first got married. We spent about 6 months in Bremerton - while his ship was in dry dock there. I went out to see the sites daily with some friends and enjoyed every bit of that area. We took the ferry everywhere we could. We had good friends in Paulsbo who always had us over for dinner. I remember it was always cloudy and after living there for about 3 months opening the blinds one morning and it was sunny. We had a beautiful view of Mt. Rainier that we didn't know up until that time. I did love the views of the mountains and the air was so pure and clean. Funny that is what I remember the most. I would love to go back and visit some day. My best- Diane

What a great time and a fun area to explore. Love the last bit about JFK Jr.
