The stuff that never happened

This book is a character drama about Annabelle and Grant McKay who have been married for 26 years and are recent empty nesters. It is revealed that Annabelle had an affair with Jeremiah in the early years of her marriage. He is on her mind again because Grant is writing a book and has become overly wrapped up in his work. Annabelle is feeling neglected and she is questioning her role now that her children are gone. Not to give too much away, Annabelle runs into Jeremiah again, and now Annabelle must deal with the reality that she has only thought about.

I liked this book a lot! The characters are very believable and likable. I really like a book when you can't figure out the characters path...and this kept me guessing.

Trust by Kate Veitch

I loved this book. I always worry if the author's first book is great, the second might not be as good....but just like Kate Veitch's first book, Without a Backward Glance, the dialogue in Trust just flows.... and the story is addictively good.

The main character is a wife, mother, caring daughter and sister. While she is trying to juggle all of the people and responsibilites in her life and revive her artistic career, a tragic accident changes everything.

Hope you get a chance to read it.

Now & Then....

I just finished reading Now & Then by Jacqueline Sheehan. This book is a fun read with great character development. Recent divorcee Anna O' Shea and her troubled nephew Joseph end up sent back in time 164 years to pre-famine Ireland. The pair get split up in Ireland... one ends up in poverty, and the other in privilege. Adventure, romance, some Irish/British history all make for a good read.
