It's amazing what a little ribbon can do! I did the same with my 2 living room shades except I only used a dab of hot glue at the seam and pulled the ribbon taut and another little dab of hot glue to hold - easy to remove when I get bored too :)
Your lamp shade looks amazing and i love that chest and your pinecones and antler. I've been meaning to do this to a lampshade that is kinda falling apart at the bottom. I love the warmth of the fabric of the shade so I'm not willing to give up on it...I wonder if i can adhere it to the bottom and then fold part of it on the inside. You always make everything look so easy...in a good way! xo anie
